Have you ever heard people ask us
Sarawakians whether we still live in the jungles , hunt for food and wear
clothing made out of leaves? If I was asked so, I would proudly say yes. lolz
When you as a Sarawakian start to feellow just because you're from Sarawak,
these facts would make you change your mind:
1. We have the second largest International airport in Malaysia. Whileothers might not even have any. We have FIVE major airports, while others mightnot have one.
2. Car fuel is the cheapest here.
3. We have two official cities, Kuchingand Miri and soon Sibu, while otherstates might only have a town.
4. We are still the main reason whytourists come to Malaysia, for our MuluCaves.
5. Two out of the popular singers basedat Taiwan are from Sarawak(Nicholas Teoand Lim Yu Zhong) (not to mention JasonLo from hitz.fm)
6. The whole of Brunei island does notenvy Malaysia. They envy Sarawak.
7. The most air travelers in Malaysia are from Sarawak. Almost all Sarawakians have at least traveled once or twice with airplane, compared to the westMalaysians.
8. We have our own daily newspaper:namely Sarawak Tribune, Borneo Post and International Times.
9. Everytime there's a reality show, our cont estants always reach respectful levels .
10. We live in harmony, not just with Malay, Indian and Chinese, but also with Iban , Bidayuh, Melanau, Kelabit etc. Theterm Sarawak truly Asia is more like it.
11.First 'Amazing Race' ever was heldin Kuching, Sarawak.
12. Most of us Sarawakians speak at least 4 different languages.
13 . MAS CEO from Sarawak, Sin Chiew daily news'(the biggest newspapercompany in Malaysia) founder is from Sarawak.
14. Sarawak Laksa!!!! Kolo Mee!!!This is just to name a few examples,but despite all this, we are still proud to be Malaysian!!!!!!!!
Please respect Sarawakian and stop making fun for asking those fool questions on them because that only make yourselves more like a FOOL....
